BOOKING & PAYMENTS: The non-refundable deposit of 30% is due upon signing of this agreement. The remainder balance of 70% is due 14 days before the date of the wedding.  Payment received 13 days or earlier to the date of the wedding will receive a $100 late fee. If the remainder is paid on the day of the wedding it must be paid in cash prior to the ceremony, with a $200 late fee. There will be no acceptance of checks within 13 days or the wedding or on day of wedding. Client acknowledges prices are subject to a state sales tax of 8.25% and a 3% transaction fee for all online transactions. All retainers are considered non-refundable as received. Methods of payment may be requested by cash, check, or credit card by the Photographer. Check and cash are acceptable to avoid the 3% transaction charge.

ENTIRE AGREEMENT: This agreement contains the entire understanding between the Photographer and the Client. It supersedes all prior and simultaneous agreements between the parties. The only way to add or change this agreement is to do so in writing, signed by all the parties. A signed “Contract for Wedding Photography Services” and payment of the booking fee are necessary to confirm the stated wedding services from the Photographer.

RESERVATION: A signed contract and non-refundable retainer are required to reserve the specified coverage.

COOPERATION: The Clients and the Photographer consent to happily cooperating and communicating with each other to achieve the best possible result within the understanding of this contract. We recommend that the Photographer be provided with a helper (usually the best man) who will point out key individuals to be photographed. The Photographer may also require the assistance of the best man in organizing family groups. The Clients also agree to give the Photographer sufficient warning of key events at the wedding to give the Photographer time to prepare, for example the Throwing of the Bouquet, Cutting of the Cake, Toasts, etc. Please note that not all guests at weddings like having their photo taken, some may oppose. In such cases the Photographer will use discretion and diplomacy, though cannot be held responsible or liable for non-inclusion of photos of such persons.

THE SCHEDULE: Our shooting schedule, and style of working and experience, are designed to achieve a great set of wedding photos for the Clients.  We accomplish this with good humor and enjoyment for everyone. Both the Clients and the Photographers therefore agree that punctuality and cheerful cooperation are essential to producing outstanding photographic results. In cases where the wedding does not run on time (for example, noticeable tardiness by one or more of the Clients parties) we cannot guarantee to take our normal set of photos, although in such circumstances we will do our absolute best to work with the Clients to capture moments you desire.

PAPARAZZI GUESTS: All your guests will have digital cameras and all your guests will want to photograph the Clients. In the spirit of cheerful cooperation the Clients agree to give the Photographers precedence over the guests in order to take the photographs required for the wedding services described above. We cannot be held liable for a lack of wedding photos if guests taking their own photos of the Clients continually interrupt the Photographer's work.

HOUSE RULES: The Photographer is limited by the guidelines of the ceremony official or reception site management. Client agrees to accept the technical results of their imposition on the Photographer. Negotiations with the officials for moderation of guidelines is the Client's responsibility. The Photographer will offer technical recommendations only.

FILM and COPYRIGHTS: Until final payment for services is made, the photographs and proofs produced by the Photographer are protected by Federal Copyright Law (all rights reserved). Upon final payment by the client, limited copyright ownership of the resulting images will be transferred to the client under the following conditions: This means that there will be no editing by another party after the images have been received by the client. However, client has full permission to download and print at their preferred printing lab.

DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: All client wedding collections include coverage by Veronica, one month online gallery, professional color correction and toning and a usb of all edited images. Client acknowledges the average edited photo count per hour of coverage is 40-60 edited images. This can change depending on schedule of the day as stated above. All weddings are delivered an online gallery 4-8 weeks after wedding date and at this time any purchased products will be mailed. 

CREATIVE SERVICES: Client acknowledges this is a creative service and trusts the photographer to use his or her best judgement for capturing and editing images on clients wedding date the best the photographer can. This is done by keeping the clients wants and visions in mind. 

EXHIBITION: Client agrees to obtain permission from the photographer to display selected images as an example of the photographer's work and/or for entry into photographic competitions. The Client agrees to release all claims to profits, to the photographer, that may arise from use of images or photographs.

PRINT RELEASE: The photographer gives client the rights to reproduce and/ or print high resolution images for personal use. Images may not be used for commercial or editorial purposes without consent from the photographer. According to US copyright law, the photographer readings the copyright to all images.

ADD ON PORTRAITS: Client acknowledges it is their responsibility to follow up on available dates for client portrait sessions. Due to the busy nature of bookings and limited weekend availability the client acknowledges and understands there may be months with no weekend portrait availabilities and must choose from a weekday if no weekends are available. Client understands that the best time for engagement portrait sessions is six months prior to their wedding date. Client acknowledges certain months such as September and October have limited portrait availabilities.

WEATHER: The client acknowledges that the photographer can not photograph outside in heavy rain, hail, lightening or any other dangerous conditions.

MEAL: The client acknowledges that during the dinner portion of your wedding that is the best time for the photographer to eat his or her dinner while guests are being served so that no event/tradition will be missed by the photographer. The photographer is to receive a guest meal and not a venue vendor meal. 

MODEL RELEASE: The client hereby grants to the photographer and its legal representatives and assigns, the irrevocable and unrestricted right to use and publish photographs of the client or in which the client may be included, for editorial, trade, advertising and any other purpose and in any manner and medium; to alter the same without restriction; and to copyright the same. The client hereby releases the photographer and its legal representatives and assigns from all claims and liability relating to said photographs.

RETAINER: In the event of cancellation, the retainer paid is non-refundable. The client agrees to provide cancellation notice in writing or email and releases the photographer from any responsibilities and liabilities.
